Security has been one of the most basic needs of humankind since ancient times and is an area of intense debate even today. This book, which has been prepared as a result of intense efforts, focuses on the analysis of the security issue and its regional differences. The aim of this multilingual and multicultural book is to contribute to international efforts from a regional perspective. The authors wrote security perceptions of their own regions in their point of view in this book. In addition, the security phenomenon has been analyzed historically and today's security approaches have been explained. Finally, it has been emphasized that the concept of security is not only an issue that concerns states, but the concept of human security should also be discussed.
